In the US, this is Banned Book Week, where attention is drawn to the issue of the problem of book banning. It is always surprising to me to see the list of books that have been banned, such as Harry Potter and To Kill A Mockingbird.

Each 500 or more books are banned in one place or another in the US.

So, this week, make an effort to read a banned book!
