I am saddened to see so much arguing trying to prove who told the biggest lie or who flip flopped, etc. We are in a static environment and as candidates review changes in economic metrics and other moving targets, I believe it is very likely both candidates will and should change some of their original perspectives based on today and not yesterday. Surely, I would have been alot happier had Bush announced he was wrong on so many issues and take a different road. There is a difference between flip flopping with the change of the wind or to just be political, however, I think all voters should keep in mind that a non flexible President is an important factor in the current state of the country.

We already have a cowboy in office. What I think this country needs is an intellectual, level headed, respectful and open minded leader who can think outside the box. I am in my late fifties. The majority of the people I support as their leader are in their twenties and thirties. These young people are innovative, mission driven and quite intelligent. They are creative and understand the tools and resources of today that many of us old folks don't have as much experience with. Personally, I think the country needs a big injection of youthful thinking supported by a solid education and political and grassroots experience.
