The Jamaica Gleaner's newest project, speaking of encouraging Jamaica's youth to excel.

The Net Generation Project
The Gleaner Online is gearing up to launch this years Net Generation schools' competition. As part of The Gleaner's education initiative the go-localjamaica.com website is willing provide free online space with the goal of working with the youth to 'express themselves'.

This year's theme is "Brand Jamaica" and students are invited to participate in monthly challenges that focus on culture, entertainment and sports. Students will be encouraged to do more than write. They must include photographs, videos, shout outs, text competitions, giveaways and talent competitions.
