OK Lola, what about pharmacists that refuse to provide birth control that was prescribed to a patient? There have already been cases like this that have been decided, it's THEIR JOB to give out the medication the DOCTOR orders, it is NOT their choice what medication to give people. Yet some pharmacists decide to put their religion above the doctors orders are refuse to give out the birth control? I say get into another line of work if your religious beliefs do not allow you to do your current job, perhaps seek a position in the ministry where religion is appropriate to be worn on your sleeve.
Furthermore, I do not feel religion should have any role in scientific research. I think we should be able to clone human tissues for research and use stem cells to figure out how to cure aids, cancer, Alzheimers, Parkinsons, you name it. I say yes to science, yes to life for the LIVING....
