I'm with you, Sis! I first saw Obama speak during the 2004 Democratic National Convention & he really spoke to me. I thought, wow, what a breath of fresh air! This is one positive, optimistic man. So I read his two books, first, the autobio. &, next, The Audacity of Hope. They raised my opinion of him. He just happens to have the same perspective, outlook & dreams for our country that I always have. I've never heard from a politician who feels this way. I made my 1st campaign contribution for him last January, began making calls within Arkansas & Missouri (a neighboring battleground state) a couple of months ago & just sent in another contribution. Although I cannot send in any more money, I'm going to ramp up my calling tomorrow night (to undecided voters) & keep going till Nov. 4th. Hey, by the way, if any of you would like to do the calling, it's very, very easy. It's called the "Neighbor to Neighbor" program. You go to his website, www.barackobama.com/n2n, and you can get started after going through a couple of training videos. You need to keep that window up just for the calling & then open another separate window on his website. That way, if a calller wants some information on any of the issues, you can just go to the 2nd window, click on "ISSUES" at the top & scroll down to the right issue to answer your caller's questions & give them information. I've even printed off some information & snail-mailed it to some elderly people who don't have access to the internet. It's all about giving the people the information! Get out the vote!
