Jamaica Observer poll

According to this poll in the JA Observer, 94% of Jamaicans support Obama, not surprising except that the support in the 90's.

Of course, there are those who seem to feel that it is bad to have a president who is popular outside of the US. As for me, I sure would like to have a president of whom I can be proud when I travel outside the US.

(And for those who may assume I am simply talking bad about GWB, I am not. It was pretty embarassing to be traveling in remote India and having a local approach me to talk. About the only English words he knew were "You know Monica Lewinsky? You know Bill Clinton, Monica Lewinsky." Sad to say, there are days where I long for a sex scandal instead of a war.)

It is time for a change and that change is coming.
