Islander, I hope you read the rest of my posts in this thread because your post here couldn't be more wrong. There would have been no slit throats if the flight crews were given the same warning that was read to Bush while he was on vacation a month before the attack.
Something as simple as a baseball bat in every cockpit could have prevented this tragedy, as it would be easy to beat someone that has a razor knife with a baseball bat. Just simply putting up resistance to hijackers could have prevented the tragedy, saved the world trade center and 3,000 American lives, as well and prevent the world from being "changed after 9-11". Then again, that wouldn't have served Bush as well as a successful attack did....
