"Gooks" was what the military and the draftees called them, R*y, they were the enemy after all. A lot of my friends and neighbors served during that fiasco, soome died and I think they earned the right to call the people who were trying kill them constantly any damn thing they like. You would maybe understand, but you have never served your country in the military in active duty, right? So maybe you can't really relate to crawling along the jungle floor in 110 degreee heat and 100 percent humidity with fear stalking your every move, your buddies crying and dying beside you, for a reason that was never fully explained to you...
