If you think "there is no shortage of opportunity" you're not very tuned into what is going on in this country. Companies have gone down in scandal, more than a handful of them, and thousands upon thousands of good jobs have evaporated as a result. Even more jobs have gone over seas with unpatriotic countries that take their jobs offshore. Furthermore, the "trickle down" economics model never works and those at the top that got the great tax cuts didn't create jobs they way republicans claim we can trust them to. The job creation numbers are public record, and we are having record job losses for just about the entire Bush administration, and the rate of job loss has been accelerating rapidly as we approach the end of the Bush era. So wake up Lola, the country is suffering and it many cases they are suffering not from decisions they have made personally, rather decisions made by politicians and big wigs in big business....
