You ignore the part where I said most people are struggling to make ends meat, and that would also include the 100 friends that you would go to and ask to borrow $100 from. Good luck with that, hmm, feed my baby or loan my buddy $100 for his great new business venture? Not a tough question to answer is it?

Beyond getting started, you need customers to patronize your business, buy your product, or subscribe to your service. People are living on bare minimums right now and are not subscribing to new services or buying lots of new products, just look at how the business of well established brands is going right now, miserable. Go into OfficeMax and see how many staff are there. Last one I went into I didn't see one staffer and waited at the cash register for 10 minutes for a human being to show up, who promptly said upon his arrive, "I had to go to the bathroom". There was only one or two employees working in this giant big box store, that's not because business is good! If established brands are doing poor business in this economy how do you think the new guy is going to do? Of coarse in any economy there are businesses that thrive, if you are in the repo business right about now you have more work than you can handle! That is not a joke.

Although some businesses can be started without much capital, a lot of business models do require capital for startup. Very often enterprising individuals would leverage and risk the equity in their home with a line of credit to fund their business adventures, unfortunately home equity has evaporated under Bush and the republicans and therefore small businesses all over this country are NOT being started up because one of the major sources for this startup capital no longer exists. This leaves individuals that do need startup money for their small business looking for a loan, which isn't there either.

Republicans have killed out small and large businesses with this economy and deregulation of the financial and insurance industries which put our country into crisis recently and caused the evaporation of the American Dream for potential small business owners across this great nation...

Give a tax cut to the MIDDLE CLASS and you will have customers with money to spend. The rich buy what they want when they want, they don't need a tax break to enable them to patronize a small or large business....
