What gets me is the bigotted theory that even if he were a Muslim, it would somehow make him unfit for public office. Kind of like how when Kennedy was running for President, the Rethuglicans said that now Rome was going to run the US and change it into a theocracy. Once Kennedy won, I don't remember his religion ever coming up, and his mom went to mass every day.
