There is a post on here about how many more military are supporting McStain than Barack. When it comes to $$$$$ it seems better provable records are kept.

Military donations favor Obama

WASHINGTON (AP) — U.S. soldiers have donated more presidential campaign money to Democrat Barack Obama than to Republican John McCain, a reversal of previous campaigns in which military donations tended to favor GOP White House hopefuls, a nonpartisan group reported Thursday.

Troops serving abroad have given nearly six times as much money to Obama's presidential campaign as they have to McCain's, the Center for Responsive Politics said.

Remember that in 2000 pResident Bush was put over the top in floriduh by a "military" mail bag that arrived 4 days after the polls were closed. They claimed to have 544 votes for bush in that bag.

I have already read that there will be late votes from military installations this time around. They will only become an issue if the election is close.

I cancelled my sub to the Army Times today. I'm sick of giving $$$ to orgs/people that play this country for a fool.

BTW when I was in The Nam, the Army Times was published by the Army, since then the production of that paper has been privatized.
