I got there minutes before the 7:00 AM opening of the polling station and the line was the longest that I've ever seen here in Media, PA. As we wound our way down the line, I noted that although we were walking along at a dog-walk stagger, new arrivals were keeping the line pretty constantly long. Inside the delays were all from signing in and voting machines waited for people to be processed. When I came out from voting, the sky was clearer and it felt a tad warmer. %^) As we drove away, I noted that the line was in fact 50 people SHORTER than when we got there. We'll now spend the day attempting to drive people to the polls which will be hard as we have SO many volunteers here.
