"Mixed-race" would probably be the more defining term, as he does indeed seem to self-identify that way, he talks about his heritage & aspects of both. But it is always a HIGHLY personal decision how a person defines himself as far as ethnicity goes. . .really, no one else can do it! The term "mixed-race" is too vague, probably, not saying enough about the actual "mixture." So whatever the person says, that's what it is!
