History happens again on January 20, and we know that thousands of Georgians want to be part of President-elect Obama's inauguration. In order to help you plan for the inauguration, we've put together some handy information.
The inaugural balls:
Neither the Balls nor the Parade are functions of the Democratic Party. The Inauguration is a Constitutional function governed by Congress.

"Sometime soon, President-Elect Obama will appoint the Presidential Inaugural Committee (PIC) which has the final say on inaugural activities. The Balls and the Parade will be hosted by the Presidential Inaugural Committee.
Inauguration tickets:
Tickets to the inauguration are available from your Congressman. In order to get tickets, you will need to contact your Congressman's office as soon as possible.

Since my congressman just called Obama a Marxist and accused him of being like Hitler and wanting to establish a Gestapo, it is ironic that he is in charge of handing out tickets to "Comrade" Obama's inauguration.
