Sis, your thoughts largely reflect my own! Although I hope to have little or no contact with "hotels" this entire winter (with the short exception of Blue Cave Castle for a night once BirdLady arrives for our 25th wedding anniversary), I can luckily call MiYard a bar and get away with hanging there a lot! For any 'adventures', I'm looking to my known drivers (Hey OZ!) to book 2 couples in their minivan and invite me as his friend. For this I would gladly buy the driver's way into the show and even feed him. I could probably help buy gas too, but I will not have funds to 'contract' a ride as I'll have to live at 'yardie prices' for everyting. I'll spend the bulk of the winter in the hills of Hanover Parish running yellow twine where my walls will be someday (some year). As I work more & more on my foundation drawings, it has become clear that I want to push more towards a finished 'basement' and less toward useless short walls (with zero chance of roof this year). OK, not ZERO but I'd have to win a lottery!
