greetings

1. we do not have worship services.

2. many ras are vegetarian, many are vegan, some eat fish, some eat chicken, some eat anything. diet is a choice. most of us choose to be vegetarian/vegan because we want to only put wholesome things in our bodies.

3. ganja is not important to ras. as is with the food vibe, partaking of the chalice is a personal choice.

4. this sis carries locs. i see them as my antennae and connection to HIM Emperor Haile Selassie I. locs to me are a spiritual vibration...not a fashion thing and so. some ras choose not to carry locs. again, locs are a choice. some of the most spritual irie ras i have ever met do not carry locs.

5. for InI, HIM Emperor Haile Selassie I is InI god and king...not up for discussion or debate this side.

6. Rastafar I is a livity, a way of life. we try to live natural as much as we can. i do not overs traditions in this sense.

7. the role of the rasta wo-man is too much to say here. i have a copy of a presentation i gave at a gathering in massachusetts. i would be willing to send you a copy if you e-mail me your addie. my e-mail addie is Irijah2001@yahoo.com. the presentation was on wo-man in rastafar I

8. some ras read the word, some do not

9. most true ras only listen to roots reggae, which is more conscious and spiritual in nature that some of the more modern vibes.

10. both leonard howell and marcus garvey are important to ras.

11. ras gather several times a year to ilabrate important dates in our livity. such as HIM's earthlight. HRH's earthlight, HIM's coronation, Ethiopian New Year, the Battle of Adwa, etc. we do not do babylon holydays like easter and christmas, but some ras do ilabrate kwannza.

answers are brief, no apologies, just do not reason about these things with anyone. if you are serious, there is much credible information on line and at your local libraries. the book of memory would be a good vibe to read to find some of your answers. if your bookstores do not have it, you can order it online.

and just as a heads up....do not say rastafarians or rastafarianism......we are Rastafar I who trod Rastafar I......seen? the other words are what babylon says to identify InI.

blessings to the I
guidance
Sis Irijah
