The rain soon stopped and the clouds parted. Because it still looked bleaky over th

e beach, I chose to stay close and swim at Little Miyard Beach. The water was really clear and there were large schools of little fishing swimming all around. Suddenly, a pelican dived down right besided me. Splash! Once he settled in his stayed closeby paddling just enough to stay the same distance. Once when I tried to get closer he just lifted his tail feathers and gave them a shake!

The pelican spent most of the afternoon right in sight from the porch, giving the full front row at the plasma tv, a ready source of entertainment.

A variety of boardies came and went, to and fro, back and forth.

THe sunset was cloudy but it looks to be a great night!
