Yes, LJ...it was heartbreaking. I was walking around AP in the evenings trying to get the word out hoping people would come get a puppy or two. I hope that is truly what happened to the other five. One of the eight died while I was still there.

I'll keep you in mind (;-) if I get in this same predicament again. I'll try to get to the closest internet cafe!

bless up LJ, you must be an animal lover like me. that's one reason I haven't traveled much over the last year, I adopted three additional cats and had a new baby Rottie after my other one died. She's now about 85 pounds and still needs daily training...but we love her.
