A little update on her birthday.
Betty is doing well , we think.
They are pumping the drugs into her every 4-6 hrs and she's doing her walking the halls as recommended.

There has been a parade of doctors coming through all with different opinions of what's wrong, so us lay people are really confused.
It's like a bad version of "House"
The next two days will tell if anything is working. We are hoping they got it right this time because we don't want to have to return here anytime soon.

For her Birthday I got her white roses of course, and the mushy card.
I went and got her favorite dinner Chicken Parma with pasta and salad.
For Dessert I went to a little bakery and got those little fruit tarts and chocolate cakes she loves.
And a good cup of coffee for after dinner.
We set up her tray with two chairs and enjoyed ourselves over a good meal.It was nice seeing how she's in a private room.Only thing missing was the candle....lol
That hospital food is not the best to say the least....yuck.
It sure picked up her spirits along with the many phone calls she got through out the day.

We talked about how all our boardie friends that are sending best wishes and prayers her way and she is deeply touched by you All. Thank you very much from both of us.

We also talked about Jamaica and as much as she wants to see Bette Middler in Vegas , Ja wins again.
We hope we can plan a trip in May or June once this battle is over. Nothing like a little beach time to heal our souls for sure.
