Cocoa Nut Trees in Jamaica

Cocoa nut Trees in Jamaica.
When I start visiting Negril many years ago there were cocoa nut trees everywhere. They were noticeable sprinkled along the beach. Over times before they were mature one would see them starting to dry up and in a short time they would die. I cannot tell what is causing this but it has continues. Checkout these in Mi Yard.
I have done a little research and found that a disease came here in the late nineteen century has been blamed for the continued problem.
I don't know what to do I continue to plant and they continue to die.. Any suggestions
What we are seeing now in these pictures have been made worse by the salt air that was coming from the sea continuously for about a week.
