dumb question about TSA inspections

OK readers, either stop here (unlikely, huh?) or B prepared for a number of twists in my logic. (that means many tangents)

Last night I saw a commercial of a little girl saying "he's my father" to two men. Might have been a greeting card commercial.

Then I quickly was merging two thoughts; one being how stupid the term "same sex marriage" is instead of creating a legal term for same sex partner. The 2nd was that official/real forms have fathers-name and mothers-name. So which one goes where?

Next was that the myway dot com web page is shutting down soon, and I will miss the page with the various AP news categories, which I look at daily as my starting point. (google news has too much on it.)

And one of the groups is 'odd news' which are interesting, and yet, I recall that Pennsylvania seems to had a higher incidence of news stories there. You know, like someone checking their car gas tank level with a BIC lighter, and other stories. Guess what State I live in? lol

Today had this snip-it:

SAN JOSE, Costa Rica (AP) — When Jazmin Elizondo Arias was born in 1991, someone goofed and noted on her birth certificate that she was male.

As the years passed and Elizondo grew up, the mix-up never caused any problems. So she never bothered to try to correct the record officially, something that others in her situation found could turn into a slog through Costa Rica's bureaucracy with no guarantee of success.

Recently Elizondo and her partner, Laura Florez-Estrada Pimentel, exploited that simple clerical error from nearly a quarter-century ago to become Costa Rica's first legally married gay couple — at least briefly — and high-profile protagonists in the Central American nation's debate over same-sex unions.

"All that I know is I had in my hands a certificate that says they are a man and a woman. Legally she is a man, and legally a man and a woman can get married," said Marco Castillo, a lawyer and activist who performed the civil ceremony. "I married a man and a woman according to the official documents."

--end of cut-n-paste----

Last night I watched a bunch of youtube videos of the abuses TSA has done. Need I mention or detail any of them here?
Inspections of bags and people by employees with god like authority. Tangent; what really irks me is when, due to something stupid, they shut down an airport costs many thousands of dollars to airlines and undue grief to the traveling public.

(getting closer. stick with me.)

One of the grips has been the pat down search and gropping.

Another recent story was (from Michigan?) that students could declare themselves the opposit sex and have access to the bathrooms. Approved in court. Some outcry was heard about someone with a penis being able to use the girls room.

Sooooo, if I declare to the TSA that I was a woman, and since the pat-down by the agent has always been performed by the same sex, wouldn't it be required that a lady do the groping?

I don't think guys really give an F at the invasive inspections, but the whole inspection process is an expense of salary and time for what is officially / politically uncared about and unchanged security theather.

ie: you'll feel safer flying but you actually aren't.

Problem is, wanting a pretty lady to feel me up would probably just delay others in line, as much as someone saying "Hi Jack" or leaving their bag for a minute inside the secure airport area just to take a pee. (think about that; a bag which went through the x-ray machine and physical inspection suddenly becomes a security concern at the airport gate.)

OK. I'll be on the island Dec 7 to 12, then again January 5 to the 23rd.
The 2nd trip is to ransom barrels on the wharf in MoBay. I don't mind the $70 a barrel charge, but I'd love to know how to skip the additional $35 per barrel the shipping company forces me to pay their "Customs broker" on the island. I can pay it at their NJ office instead of in Jamaica, but the pfficial JA gov web site says a customs broker is only necessary if the goods are more than 5K in USD. Help!!
