Negril Resort Board has been renamed Destination Assurance Committee/Council with new members. Old issues are still unresolved.

Implied / inferred: the police are new also. (from Delroy's sentence "The chairperson remarked that ... police get good understanding...")

My retort. The Chairperson seems to acknowledge the situation but was ineffective at controlling the crowd. Bad!

As a public body, I would wish that minutes (notes) were taken there as well as previous meetings, to learn from.

IMO the 'garbage situation' was complaints without an action item to solve the creation of garbage. Boy what a waste of a meeting.

I wish there was established methods of communication (email?) with this new group.

A major item to me (a stupid little item to some) would be how Delroy's camera pole got approved, erected, and who is to blame for it falling down.

Anyone ever hear the expression "Don't build me any bridges" ? Engineering folk have. I want banishment for the company that errected the pole with a life span of six months. Too much 'slip-shot, don't care, ineffective oversight jobs' doled out by the government.

The pole problem should never occur again, and the new DACC should not repeat the ills of the NRB.
