Zema and I actually did tour the river quite a bit but did not take an actual rafting trip which is kind of touristy but might still be fun. Our best moments were at that river even tho we spent time at Frenchman's Cove, another cover (forgot the name) and the Blue Hole. We stayed at a very nice bed and breakfast in Portie and then met a very nice Rastaman who took us around to some of the not so touristy areas (including the river). That turned out so nice, Zema hired him to watch her place in Kingston while she was on tour. He was a great choice. Very respectful and never asking for anything while he was showing us around. It was a great experience and we want to do more. No one begged us the whole time. I like your idea of exploring the river more.
