I worked very hard for that B.A. but during those years of college I never heard anyone discuss what happens to the election if a presidential candidate dies. If I were still in school I would ask the teacher/professor this question. Is it something covered by the constitution or other law? I believe it is true that the election would be held, some would vote for the non-existent candidate, and by default the other candidate would "win" the election. Just a crazy question.
