Some years ago the government change the junior high schools to high school to reremedy the historict school system.

These new high schools are not yet up to the level of the traditional ones but they are making progress. These progress can seeing in the aread of sports and in the national schools challenge quiz.

Both the traditional high schools and the new one are competing in these competitions,

The traditional system only place those who achived a certaion and there was never enough space to place all those who has achived the pass grade. This new system place much more in high school. Those with the better grade are still placed in the traditional high school.

However they are all expected to be on par over time..
