Come on Lola, your sounding like Ray, twisting and putting words into my mouth. Clinton was governor for a long time in Arkansas before he won the presidency. If you recall the election, as I do, Clinton was young and unknown on the national stage and most pundits didn't give him a chance to win the election or even the nomination of his party at first. Fortunately for Clinton the incumbents had run the country into the ground, though not nearly as efficiently as "W" has done, and Clinton stepped up to the plate and exemplified the economic failure using a winning catch phrase "It's the economy, stupid!" and his eloquent and informed conversation with the voters instilled enough confidence in a young governor to win the presidency. Palin has hardly been eloquent or proven herself informed, in fact, she hasn't really had a conversation with the American people to prove her worthiness at all, has she?
There is absolutely no comparison between the experience of Clinton and Palin prior to their run for the presidency, to even insinuate that Palin has similar skills and experience as Clinton is a complete joke, and I think you know that....
