Very sad indeed...but...

...people would rather believe that the government is going to come to our rescue amd there is nothing we can do. Everyone complains. I want to know what exactly these complainers do in their lives to improve the things they complain of. What exactly are they doing in their everyday lives for their community and their country? Probably just compain.

I have always believed you are part of the problem or part of the solution. Simply complaining and doing nothing more is worse than not complaining at all. Because if you complain and do noting about the problem but bit*h, then you are a known actor contibuting to the problem. This is exactly what our elected officials do.

I would challenge each and every complainer to get up off their rear and actually do something about the problems they complain of. If it is so important to you, join an organization who does something to combat that which you are concerned about. Or start you own businesss to battle it...make a job for yourself and maybe others. Maybe even start a 501(c)(3) charitable organization...learn to write grant proposals and get the many organizations out there who give money away to give you a grant. You can create jobs instead fo complaining about the loss of them. There are many things you can do to point things in the right direction instead of simply pointing a finger at someone else.

Many of us want the government to fix things. Guess what: "We the people" are the government. To complain about our elected officials is to compain about ourselves. Having done nothing about it, makes you complicit in the acts that you compain of. Now is the time for Americans to accept our responsibility and correct our wrongs. I have shared the things I do to make my community better...what kinds of things do you all do besides complain? And further, what do you intend to do to be a pesronal agent for change? Change will never come from top down...it must come from the botton up.
