Just a few nights before, Morgan Heritage serenaded us with their lovely song Down By the River. The essence and message of the song kept coming back while we hiked up parts of this lovely old river. The water was clear as bottled water and the rocks in the river were the most amazing colors. I picked up three, one was a bright turquoise, one a bright rust and one a sea green.
