It's a "good read" which basically covers what we (I) have been aware of, although the amount of $ sent down was staggering; estimated $300 million annually
An aside; I remember the government touting that JA was going to become an IT center and the importance of "call centers". But that was long ago yet the article says 17,000 Jamaicans are employed (for legit companies. My calls end up in the US or Asia, so its nice to read the JA did make their investment suceed.)
This post is partly to thank Sharlene for sharing, and give a little notice to the thread since we certainly have had a vacation from viewing this board. Either we took heart of whats-his-face being nasty about us enjoying this board, or its "low season." I prefer the latter.
