What I don't get about your bipartisan assignment of blame in this crisis is this. Does the sitting president not have the job of correcting problems as times and economic conditions change? With the Senate, Congress, President and Supreme Court all under the control of republicans for 6 of the last 7 years shouldn't they have been on top of this and made some sort of corrective measures, tightening or regulations, SOMETHING to prevent this catastrophe? They rushed back to Washington on a holiday weekend to force that poor man to keep a feeding tube in his dead wife, couldn't they have done something about the economy? Wait, they did, they deregulated the market to make it FREE to FAIL...
