I thought opposing views were welcome here Roger? I know that is the stated position which clearly is not the actions. While it is claimed that differing opinions are welcome, it clearly is not the case...the reality is they are allowed here, not welcomed. And the repsonses to opposing views, be it me, or someone else makes the reality very clear. It would be nice if we could all keep an open mind, be objective and deal with issues in an attempt to reach concensus. Isn;t that what we should all be doing in the interest of our conutnry anyway? Simply not the case.

ASfor N.com...they do not allow any political discussions because they don't allow the behavior exhibited by most here and their argument is that this is what political discussions turn into....ugly and hateful words, an aparnet truth unless everyone is in agreement, meaning as long as on one who doesn ot support Obama speaks..... But hey, clearly I can deal with it as you gusy keep hurling away and I still come around and I am staying above that nonsense. If you notice, my response comments to such are not directed at the individual, but the behavior. I simply do not know any of you and bet to venture that in other settings you are all pretty decent folk. It is the passions getting in the way.

However, iIf one is going to direct rude and hateful towards someone, meaning the person, that individual should be able to point it out for what it is, whether people acting as such feel personally disrepsected or not. If they do not like such responses, perhaps they should control themselves ab initio as I shall then have nothing to respond to but the issues and opinions. Nuff said.

I do post over their and at Jamericans as well as other boards. Why don't you just make the rule fit what is trying to be accomplished, shut down anyone who is not a liberal.
