Maybe you don't know everything about this planet? Maybe volcano's erupt more often from below the earth when the surface of the earth and overall ambient temperature of the planet rises and the inner core heats up and builds pressure. Maybe the spewing of ash and greenhouse gasses from volcanoes is a reaction by the planet that comes when the surface heats up too much and the core reacts by blowing volcanic dust into the atmosphere to cause a cooling of the planet, otherwise known as an ice age? Maybe the planet would react the same way to natural global warming as it does to man made global warming, and thus perhaps we are speeding up the arrival of the next ice age by burning up all this oil on the planet?
Maybe volcano's erupt more after we have removed the insulating layer of oil that isolates the core of the planet from the surface, or maybe the oil in the earth lubricates or floats the plates of the earth and removing the oil causes more friction and earthquakes that lead to volcanic eruption?
These things are plausible links to human activity, the fact is we don't know for SURE, but to say "god done it" and dismiss the entire topic is idiocy IMHO.
