OF course, your actions should be brought to the attention of the school as should your knowing violation of the rules which should be punished. If I had children and one of them was in your class, and knowing that you did htis knowing it is wrong, I would demand for you to be fired as I simply would not want anyone with that judgment teaching my kids. My logical question would be "What other rules is she willing to break". While you may not like my opinion, you raided the question and what many do not like about me is my cinfidence to speak how I feel. Bringing an extra shirt is not respect at all but rather a way to protect yourself from being sent home. Resepct dies with a knowing violation of the rules and cannot be resurrected once the wrong thing was done. Changing your shirt does not undue the act.
BUT, of course I would not do the thing you suggest a suggestion which is both unfair and paranoid because I don't have a kid in your class. I would say you should be happy I don't because I would call every newspaper in town and make a federal case of it. Any other questions?
