That's the one! They had told me it was gone, or thought gone since the 60s but there were unconfirmed reports in I think it was Arkansas. They were doing some stuff at UF and hung around my house off and on for a couple weeks with zoom cameras and they got some shots off and confirmed this bird is def not extinct and it must be coming back in the SE US which was once its habitat. I just saw the couple around here again a couple months ago too (the bird not the wildlife couple).
I have owls, hawks, bats, cardinals, bluejays, and many finches and thrushes around all the time too. And TONS of squirrels. Tons. They try to get in the house almost every day.
