First Barb W. I have received your messages on Facebook to play some of the internet games but don't know how!
I have done some pretty extensive renovations at my home, new roof, total painting inside, new bathroom, new really nice tile flooring in some rooms, new kitchen countertops, blacksplash tiles, so no trip to Negril for me this year. I feel good though, my house is looking nice.
Facebook makes me dizzy, I get the messages at work which is crazy, I have to go through them really fast. I CANNOT believe that I am still working, the majority of my friends are now totally retired. I only live 10 minutes away from my job at a University so it is pretty easy & I only work 3 1/3 days a week now.
Oldtimer, my daughter & I had a planned trip to Nova Scotia but she decided to go to Italy with her father. She gets home tomorrow night late.

Okay, so this is my old memory of Negril. I think most likely it was in 1973 & I was living in the far west end. There was a group of us, maybe about nine or ten people who used to have weekly mushroom sessions. We would walk up Hylton Lane past the Lighthouse where there were quite a bit of the mushrooms, gag them down with fresh squeeded (sp?) orange juice and walk FAR past the Lighthouse into Mr. Hoggs land. Laughing totally hysterically after a while.
Oh and I remember my first trip to Negril in 1971, getting into Redground in the dark and walking to the beach from there in the morning and being TOTALLY blown away when reaching there, the turquoise sea, totally aqua marine & all of the coconut trees. There were only three hotels or something, T-Water, Tree House and Sundowner.

Oh yeah and my sweet little one year old dog has been diagnosed with both lyme disease and heartworm disease. Apparently the heartworm disease is kind of dangerous, they are treated with an arsenic based medication, she starts this next Tuesday.
