I know that you know this, Roger. . .the idea that all Muslims being "terroristic, bad people" is as plausible as saying that all, say, Christians are followers of Timothy McVeigh or people who bomb abortion clinics. Or that all Jews are extreme right-wing Zionists. Lebanon is an example of a multi-confessional state that has, at least as SOME points in its history, managed to coalesce despite the differences among its peoples. Of course, that's become harder and harder since the creation of Israel in 1948. People have gotten more polarized since that time.
