At first read I thought there was scarism in the post (which never conveys well) but I was mistaken.

The idea of a massive campaign of random road blocks would not fly. For one, as mentioned on another board (or was it comments in the news site about the killing?), there is money to be made via road stops, hence they will not end, as opposed to finding criminals which does not have financial gain.

That's their opinion. The road stops can't be on every vechicle 24/7, although the latest bad guys were always on a motorcycle which would be one thing to concentrate on, but again, 24/7 or having every cop know everyone who lives in the area?

Personally, I think high quality video with unattended recording machines would be the way to go. There are only so many roads on the west end that this is a practical idea. Again, IMO.

Erica, if anyone remembers her and her bicycle, lived there, as do some "ladies" further up at the end. Note, this road has another egress near the other end.

Go to the 4 minute mark on this video and you can glimpse (4:00-4:01 the lane on the left, with the motorcycle). Not very helpful, but that's the loc. I've been there daytime, and it's just another lane with typical Negril people. (I'm not sure that explains anything. LOL)

The video starts in the center of town and ends at BCC.

I can NOT think of any "shop" on that lane. The only shop/store I can think of is at the one at the Ocean Edge sign, were the really nice, friendly guy will sell you bad drugs and screw you when he can. That lane is way beyond L&M market (and BCC), beyond where the video ceases.

Now a question; is Lime Tree Lane also known as PeeWee Lane?
