Back in the early 90's, on a scotter, we wanted to explore beyond the lighthouse and a local said that we should follow the road (south) and just-keep-left and we would end up back in town.

We did, and you can see that Whitehall Rd dead ends into the main drag in town.

The map (same URL below) when you back out, has the big loop. Closer in, (slide bar upwards) and the details of the road by the church up to Red Dragon (then left down to town), or some other roads which intersect in Red Ground.

All these things must be considered.
