While I agree that there has been a major effort do lower expectations for Palin in the debate against Biden, I have yet to be impressed with Palin's knowledge of issues and response to the few questions she has answered thus far. She definitely has proven her ability to study up and deliver talking points very effectively. I am on the same page with you thus far thinking that they are coaching her with talking points relentlessly right about now on Biden's long history as a public official, and I am guessing Palin will pretty much stick to repeating these attacks and talking points over and over in the debate rather than actually debating. That's my guess, since they are hiding Palin so well I don't have that much to base it on....
With expectations for Palin set so very low it is predictable that she will recite an attack line about Biden's past to score some points, soon there after it will be pronounced how she won the debate because she scored one on a veteran. I think that much is predictable, what Biden does is the wild card and could raise the bar for Palin a bit and change the end result, if he can get her talking off the cuff that might be the end of Palin and McCain.
If Palin does go after Biden's history and associations do you think it's fair game for Obama to bring up the "Keating Five" Savings and Loan scandal in his next debate with McCain?
