I did the prudent thing with my mortgage as well, so I feel ya....
Maybe the Gov should assume all these assets and put them on the market at fire sale prices and let us all have equal chance to buy these homes? They could give a nice mortgage rate for the loans and MAKE SURE BUYERS QUALIFY for the loans. This way responsible people would have fair shot at the opportunity and have a chance at getting a deal on a nice house and a good mortgage rate like everyone else? If people had jobs this would work like a charm to bail us out of this crisis without a cash "bailout" for wallstreet....
