I did not say that it is a valid suit or not nad I cannot believe it will amount to anything as I just cannot see this election possilbegetting anymore dramatic than it has been. Certinaly could be fivilous for all I know. I will say that the pleadings are clear in the lines arguments. I am not an immigration lawyer and do not have electronic access to immigration law databases to research the legal cases and statutes addressed in the pleadings. When Tammy fomr jamericans.com asked me for some information, I made it clear I was not an immigration attorney an could not really assist.
Once source I found reports the issues reported in the suit report and indicates that Obama could still be a citizen but does not address the issue of whether that would be a natural born citizen or a naturalized citizen, the former eligible to hold the office of PResident, the latter not. It is my understanding that if a country does not recognize dual citizenship, the US will not either...apparent comity rules from the Hague convention. This is a case of first impression. By that, I mean this issue has never been visited by the Courts. It is also my understaning that the term natural born is not clear in the founding documents and case law on the issue is scant and I am not aware of the issues presented or the holdings and cannot commment on that.
I will say that if he was indeed adopted, there are issues. First, when applying for the bar, he indicated his name was Barack Obama and he never had any other former names. He also indicated he has NEVER been a Msulim, stuided Islam or practiced such. If the school documnet is valid and correct, there are other serious issues raised about his truthfulness about these issues and then why the need to lie about them.
