Yes you have provided food for thoughts. Thanks for providing a different prospective. I have watch the wailers twice and I agree with you re the wailers. I too watch them and had similar feelings while the majority of the guest was having a great time clapping them each time they finish a song.

The locals in the allinclusives complain about the singers that the hotels are hiring because they the same set of singers they are hearing every day. Same thing with the singers on the beach.

I went to Bourbon Beach Bob Dread was the opening act and he song about an hour of only Bob Marley songs. The tourist that was there seems to be having a great time dancing and singing along. Another act came on for about half an hour and he was very good as far as the localls are concerned but after he demitted the stage and the main act came on, he song two songs the tourist started to leave.

What we are hoping to create is a one love vibes. As I had said before we plan to create a cultural hub. He is the most popular symbol of Jamaican culture. We will not be forcusing on only one form of Jamaican music. In fact all the various forms are already available. There even music that are not Jamaican been played in alot of the bars. There is even a Country and Western Music Bar on the Drive. I myself feature The DRUNKZ here before and they will be playing this Tuesday they too play Country. The Marley's played at Wavz in Negril this Spring Break and the general feeling on the street is that it is the biggest show so far for this year.

I can assure you there will be variety for longtimers. Jamaica product so much new artist like every day. Especially now where there are studios everywhere. This cultural hub we plan to create needs a spacecraft to transport it rapidly around the world. It is felt that if it is even shot down, even in some remote place on earth the feeling is once it is conspicously clear that Bob Marley is on board the people there will help to get it back up because someone there in that remote place would know the face of Bob Marley and would want to see the ONE LOVE VIBES reach the entire world.

Hopefully it will help to bring some new tourist to One Love Drive West End. Jamaica has given the world a religion, It has given the World its own form of music, it has given the world Bob Marley, Marcus Garvey , more recently Merlene Ottey, Don Quirer, Usain Bolt, Virnica Campbell etc. We on the One Love Drive are going to give the world the most popular cultural hub in the World..
